Martha Chaves

Smart, sassy and subversive, Martha can deliver laughs in four different languages! A prolific writer of comedy, she is most often heard cracking wise on The Debaters and Because News.

Alec Mapa

According to Variety Magazine, “Alec Mapa is a freak. No one should be this talented.” With uproarious live comedy performances and ground-breaking television roles, actor and comedian Alec Mapa has entertained audiences worldwide in every imaginable medium. With too many Film/TV credits to list you may recognize him from Ugly Betty, Doom Patrol, The Rich and the Ruthless, Grand Daddy Day Car or Welcome to Pine Grove!

Heather Bambrick

Heather is a Juno nominated, East Coast Music Award nominated, vocalist, voice actor, and award winning JAZZFM 91 broadcaster who brings beautiful musicality and tonnes of fun to every one of her shows. For this appearance she’ll be accompanied by the insanely talented Dora Mavor Moore Award nominated pianist and musical director Diane Leah.

Brandon Ash-Mohammed

Deadpan and dead on, stand-up comic Brandon Ash-Mohammed has taken the comedy scene by its veritable nuts. Already a Canadian Screen Award winner for his work as a head writer on Canada’s Drag Race, he was also one of the stars of this season’s Last One Laughing Canada and is presently the Toronto correspondent for This Hour Has 22 Minutes.

David Benjamin Tomlinson

David Benjamin Tomlinson is a writer, actor, and raconteur. His brand new show “Fagnificent” deals with life at middle age, (which, if you’re DBT includes awkward vampire roleplays, navigating bro dens, and becoming a wizard).

Slanty Eyed Mama

Fast, furious, and funny, Slanty eyed mama is an electric violin fueled punk rock spoken word comedy duo who have delighted audiences all over the world with their razor-sharp lyricism and radical deconstruction of race and representAsian.

Karen Williams

Karen Williams is one unique comic. Sure a lot of people say that, but it’s true! One of the pioneers of queer comedy, her early appearances as a black lesbian comic changed the comedy game for more than one community. Known for her quick repartee, insightful commentary and audience rapport, Karen Williams is a fan favourite all over the world.

The G-Girlz

Canada’s premiere drag troupe, the B-Girlz came to the city with big hair, big voices and a big dream. Glamourous and entertaining, the BGlirlz have appeared in everything from feature films to television to live stage shows.
